Backs Rodimin with Anise is a mineral mixture developed for pigeons and designed to be made freely available alongside their normal feeding programme.
The formulation combines several mineral sources, including redstone, calcareous marine shells, calcium carbonate and dicalcium phosphate, together with quartz, sodium bicarbonate and sodium chloride.
Providing a varied mineral mixture within the loft gives pigeons ready access to supplementary mineral material without it having to be incorporated into their normal grain ration.
Ground redstone, calcium carbonate, calcareous marine shells, dicalcium phosphate (inorganic), quartz, sodium bicarbonate and sodium chloride.
Rodimin can also be combined with Backs VI-SPU-MIN. When the two products are used together, mix them in a 1:1 ratio and offer the mixture in a suitable feeding bowl.
The two products have different formulations: Rodimin provides a varied mineral mixture, while VI-SPU-MIN contains additional vitamins, trace elements and amino acids. Combining them provides a practical way of offering both products together.
Offering a mineral feed separately allows pigeons to take it independently of their normal grain mixture. Keep the mineral bowl clean and positioned where its contents will remain dry and free from contamination.
Replace any material that becomes wet or soiled rather than simply topping it up with fresh product.

Place Backs Rodimin in small feeding bowls and make it freely available to the pigeons.
As it is offered separately rather than replacing the pigeons’ normal feed, the mineral mixture can be kept available as part of the loft’s mineral feeding routine.
Store Backs Rodimin in a dry place and keep the packaging securely closed between uses.
No. Backs Rodimin is a formulated mineral feed containing several mineral ingredients, including redstone, calcium sources, quartz and dicalcium phosphate. It should be considered part of the pigeons' wider mineral feeding programme rather than simply another name for standard pigeon grit.
No. Rodimin is offered separately as a mineral feed and does not replace the pigeons' normal grain mixture. Their regular feed should remain the basis of the diet.
Yes. Rodimin is part of the Backs all-year-round mineral supply range and can be incorporated into the loft's ongoing mineral feeding routine.
Yes. Rodimin can be made available to breeding pigeons as part of their mineral feeding programme. Its composition includes calcium and phosphorus alongside several other mineral ingredients.
Yes. Check the feeding bowl regularly and remove material that has become damp, dirty or contaminated before adding fresh Rodimin. This is preferable to continually topping up old material.
Yes. Rodimin is a mineral feed and does not replace drinking water. Pigeons should always have access to clean, fresh water.
The Backs feeding instructions specify offering Rodimin separately in small feeding bowls for free intake. I'd follow this method rather than routinely mixing it into the normal grain ration.
