Young pigeons have increased nutritional requirements while they are growing, and adult pigeons also require additional nutrients during the moult as new feathers are produced.
Backs Zucht & Mauser is a complementary feed formulated for both stages. It combines protein, amino acids including methionine, probiotic cultures and selected nutritional additives to complement a balanced feeding programme during breeding, the rearing of young birds and the moulting period.
The powder is designed to be mixed with feed and can be introduced at different stages of development, from youngsters in the nest through to separated young birds and adult pigeons during the annual moult.
