A simple, easy-eating 50/50 blend of white millet and plain canary seed — a clean base for daily feeding.
Pet and aviary budgies; also suits many small finches as a neutral base.
Use as the base seed. Add fresh water, mineral source (e.g. cuttlebone/grit) and small daily greens; during breeding or moult, include a little eggfood/softfood.
About 5–8 g per budgie per day (roughly 1–1½ teaspoons), split morning/evening. Adjust to activity and body condition.

Yes — millet and canary are hulled by the bird. Use narrow-port feeders, refresh daily and sift out empty husks.
Yes — both seeds sprout well. Rinse thoroughly, drain, and feed fresh; discard if there’s any sour odour.
Keep cool, dry and sealed, off the floor and out of sunlight. Decant into pest-proof bins and rotate stock.
