A sprouting blend for budgies containing selected seeds that germinate readily and provide a fresh, digestible supplement.
Rape seed, niger (nyjer) seed, mung beans, panicum millet, Japanese millet, yellow millet, wheat, white dari, red dari, safflower and wild seeds.
Rinse, soak 8–12 hours, rinse thoroughly, then drain and sprout in a sieve/jar 24–48 hours (rinse 2–3× daily) until tiny “tails” appear. Rinse before feeding.
Offer small portions alongside the normal diet, removing leftovers after a few hours. Increase gradually based on intake.
No — it’s a supplementary sprouted seed. Keep a balanced base diet and add fresh greens, plus cuttlebone/mineral block.
