High Energy Garden Bird Food Recipe
This high-quality bird food mix has been specially designed to give your garden birds easily accessible energy and essential nutrition.
Contains Sunflower Hearts and Suet
This wild bird food contains energy-rich sunflower hearts, suet pellets, Cut Maize, White Millet, Red Millet, Oat groats and Pinhead Oatmeal. It’s perfect for feeding birds during tough times like hot summer days and cold winter mornings.
Low Mess Wild Bird Food
The seeds in this mix are mostly husk-free, reducing waste and mess for easier clean-up. As it is wheat-free, it is less attractive to larger birds like wood pigeons.
Use in Hanging Bird Feeders & Table Feeders
Fill your bird feeders with this mix to provide a treat for small birds. It’s ideal for summer visitors like blackcaps, winter migrants such as siskins, and year-round residents like great tits. Please ensure the feeder aperture is large enough for the pellets.
It’s a premium, wheat-free wild bird mix milled and packed at the Swainston Family Mill, formulated to deliver easily accessible energy with sunflower hearts, suet pellets and complementary seeds.
Finches, tits, sparrows, robins, blackcaps and siskins take it readily; the husk-light recipe also helps smaller birds feed efficiently.
Yes. It’s ideal in winter for extra calories and just as useful in summer when adults and fledglings need quick, digestible energy.
Use in hanging seed feeders with an aperture large enough for suet pellets, and it also works well on bird tables or ground trays.
Mostly husk-free ingredients reduce waste and clean-up, helping keep feeding areas tidier.
Yes. Suet pellets are included to boost the mix’s energy density for tough weather and demanding periods.
Store sealed in a cool, dry place and keep out of direct sunlight. Offer little and often in warm weather to maintain freshness.
Yes. The soft textures from hearts and suet are easy to take; crumbling on a table or tray helps younger and soft-billed birds.
