Follow the label directions exactly. Dose into the drinking water or as otherwise instructed on the bottle, and offer only the treated water for the full treatment period.
Yes—if the label states water medication, mix the stated amount into fresh drinking water and replace the solution daily so every bird receives the correct dose.
Worming frequency depends on your loft’s risk and veterinary advice. Many fanciers worm proactively a few times per year and always after a confirmed diagnosis—follow the label or your vet’s guidance.
Check the bottle instructions before use in the breeding season or with young birds. If unsure, ask an avian vet first.
Some programmes advise a follow-up after a set interval. Only repeat if the product label or your vet recommends it.
Remove other water sources, mix accurately, and ensure all birds drink the medicated water. Provide grit and feed as usual unless the label says otherwise.
